Alessandro di Mariano di Vanni Filipepi, better known as Sandro Botticelli (c. 1445 - 1510) was a Florentine painter of the Florentine school during the Early Renaissance (Quattrocento). This painting, the Primavera, is among his best known works, alongside the The Birth of Venus.
